Marie Frances López is Co-Founder of Sinfonica Strategies, where she serves as the architect of the firm’s focus on pragmatic execution.
For more than two decades, she has led teams in both the private and public sectors with one guiding principle: a strategy only creates value when it is built to work in the real world.
Her perspective is that of an Industrial Engineer, trained at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, to see a business not as departments, but as an integrated system. This disciplined mindset was tested in high-performance environments like General Electric, Popular Inc., and Puerto Rico’s Office of Management and Budget, where she learned to bring clarity and order to complex operations.
Marie Frances doesn’t just consult on strategy; she builds the engines that sustain it. As the founder of IDEAnovations, a firm dedicated to process improvement and systems implementation, she earned a reputation for turning strategic plans into operational realities. This experience as both founder and implementer forms the pragmatic heart of Sinfonica’s philosophy: we start where most firms stop.
She continues to evolve her leadership through executive education at MIT Sloan, holding certificates in Management, Design Thinking, and Customer Experience Strategy. Outside of work, she applies the same focus and discipline to CrossFit, adventure, and traveling.
